Steve Sepulveda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in film and video production from Columbia College Chicago in 2001 and has gone to work on several commercials and television shows such as Fox’s breakout series “Prison Break”, American Idol and MTV’s “The Real World” Chicago to name a few. He has also worked in various capacities on feature films such as, Clint Eastwood’s Flags of Our Fathers, Project Greenlight’s Stolen Summer, Drunkboat, starring John Malkovich and John Goodman, The Architect, starring Anthony LaPaglia and Isabella Rossellini, and Death of a President among many others.
He is the writer/director of several short films including, St. Francis, about a young man coping with his father’s death who searches for affection through sexual encounters with other men. He has also produced and directed educational videos on Postpartum depression for the Women’s Mental Health Center at the University of Chicago, photographed and edited a short documentary entitled, Not Just Paintings on a Wall: The Murals of Pilsen, in collaboration with the Latino Chicago Theater Company, directed several live music events with Chicago local music artists including Queen Aries, Big Will and Maximillian and is the Associate Producer on, Blank Verse, the latest Independent film by actor/writer/director Juan Ramirez of Trimerica Films.
He has several feature-length screenplays in development including the Mystery/Thriller “Constellation” and the crime/drama, “The Eternal Son”.
Steve lives in Chicago with his wife Marilyn and their son Adrien Mateo.
